Dr. Yingqin Liu received the 2023-24 Harold and Elizabeth Hackler Award for Teaching Excellence, the highest faculty honor at Cameron. This award, established in 1996, recognizes faculty who greatly improve student education.

The Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering at Cameron University recently celebrated student achievements at a ceremony. During the event, several students were inducted into Gamma Sigma Epsilon, a national chemistry honor society. The new members include Jinyoung Beadles, Evan Capuccio, Diana Dao, Zoey Dean, Leilani Hunter, Bianca Karnes, Amanda Meza, and Nathalie Moro, all from Lawton.

Cameron University recently held its 2024 Agriculture Interscholastic Meet, attracting over 675 students from 60 high schools across Oklahoma. The event took place on the university campus in mid-April and has been a tradition for over 50 years. It provides a platform for students to enhance their skills in various agricultural areas, such as animal science, agronomy, and business, in preparation for state-level competitions.
