Step back in time and discover the tastes of history with the "Homeschool Program: Food: Now and Then" at the scenic Rock Springs Conservation Area. This unique educational event, slated for Wednesday, May 8th from 10 am to 12 pm, invites homeschoolers aged 5-15 to join a naturalist for a journey through the evolution of eating.
Local Seniors to Explore Career Paths at Richland Community College on May 1
On May 1, about 200 seniors from Decatur Public Schools will attend the Senior EnRichment Experience at Richland Community College. The event starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Shilling Community Education Center Salons. It is designed to introduce students to career opportunities in workforce and health professions through the EnRich programs.
