A Saline County husband and wife couple have filed to seek the nomination for Saline County Treasurer and Registrar of Deeds. Anthony “Tony” Newell filed for the office of Saline County Treasurer on April 29. Mr. Newell is a lifetime resident of Kansas, living in Saline County for 41 years. Newell has been an employee of the Saline County Treasurer’s office since 2021, working in both the Tag Office and Tax Office as an Accounting Technician.
