Since 2020, Addy has served as the Director of Maintenance and Operations at the Shenandoah Community School District. Midland University Announces Retirement of President Jody Horner After a Decade of Leadership
President Jody Horner of Midland University has announced her retirement after leading the institution for ten years. Her retirement will take effect during the 2024-25 academic year, once her successor is appointed by the Midland University Board of Directors. Horner, who took office as the 16th president in December 2014, had previously worked for 30 years at Cargill, a global agribusiness company.
Local Achievers: Three Northeast Community College Students Honored with Statewide Academic Awards
Three students from Northeast Community College were recognized as members of the 2024 Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) All-Nebraska Academic Team. The event took place in the Warner Legislative Chamber at the Nebraska State Capitol in Lincoln. Rachel Gaver, Kylie Jerabek, and Kaleb Wragge were honored alongside 15 other students from various community colleges in Nebraska for their academic achievements, leadership, and community service.
