Local Achievements Highlighted at Victoria College's PTA Program Graduation
Nine students have graduated from Victoria College's Physical Therapist Assistant Program as of Spring 2024. The graduation ceremony included students from Weimar, Port Lavaca, Victoria, League City, and Halletsville. During the ceremony, three students received special awards. Avery Milner won the Dr. Laura Crandall Excellence & Academic Award, Hannah Davis received the Leadership Award, and Rebecca Leist was given the Most Inspirational Award. These awards recognize their achievements during their studies. Local Business Leader Lasley Davis to Inspire at Victoria College Graduation
Lasley Davis is scheduled to speak at the Victoria College spring commencement ceremony. Twenty years after graduating from high school, Davis will earn an Associate of Science in Business Management with magna cum laude honors. He returned to education after encouragement from his employer, having previously dropped out of high school twice. His boss, Susan Cain, and her father, Will Armstrong, influenced his decision to study business management.

Victoria College Launches Free Drone Pilot Academy for Local High School Students
Victoria College has received a $29,400 grant from the Texas Workforce Commission to start a Drone Pilot Academy for high school students.
