Defiance County grand jury returns indictments against eight persons
A Defiance County grand jury has returned indictments against eight persons, according to Prosecutor Morris Murray’s office. Indicted were: • Ryan Gibbs, 40, 62 Charnell Drive, for aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony; felonious assault, a second-degree felony; and having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony. Bomb squad called to Defiance home after man finds live hand grenade in attic
DEFIANCE, Ohio — The Northwest Ohio Bomb Squad was called to a home in Defiance after a man made an explosive discovery in the attic of a home. According to a press release from Toledo police, just after 4 p.m. on Thursday, the man was cleaning out the attic of his brother's leftover military items when he spotted a live hand grenade.
