CWE restaurant relocating to larger space
ST. LOUIS — Mainlander, a restaurant that opened in July 2023 in the Central West End, is relocating within the neighborhood to a larger space. The restaurant, which this year was recognized in the James Beard Foundation Awards, is moving from 8 S. Euclid Ave. to 392 N. Euclid Ave. Mainlander will be taking over space that previously housed barbecue chain Salt + Smoke prior to a three-alarm fire there in 2022. The restaurant will be part of a full lineup of commercial tenants in the building, at North Euclid and McPherson avenues, as it reopens after the fire.
