Oneida County committee rejects youth drug treatment center planned by inter-tribal council
Oneida County officials have blocked a proposed youth drug treatment center in the Northwoods out of fears it would reduce property values in the area. The center was being developed by the Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council, a nonprofit representing tribal nations in Wisconsin and Michigan, and was met with a lot of fanfare last summer when plans were announced.
