Join Union County Water in Celebrating 50 Years of Safe Drinking Water During Drinking Water Week
Drinking Water Week is an annual event that has been celebrated for over four decades during the first full week of May. It recognizes the work of water professionals who provide clean and safe drinking water in the United States. This year, the event is especially notable as it marks the 50th anniversary of the Clean Drinking Water Act, a key piece of federal legislation passed in 1974 to protect public health and the nation's drinking water sources, including rivers, lakes, and groundwater wells.
