Week of the Young Child declared
A collaborative effort between community leaders, school officials and the Save the Children Foundation is underway to address the pressing needs of early childhood education. On March 29, all the parties gathered together at Hazard City Hall to read and sign a proclamation declaring April 6 through April 12 as "Week of the Young Child."
