Sunapee Voter Checklist Update and State Primary Filing: Key Dates and Details
The Supervisors of the Checklist in Sunapee will meet on June 4th, 2024, at the Sunapee Town Office from 7 PM to 7:30 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to update the voter checklist before the State Primary Election filing period begins. During the meeting, registered voters can change or declare their party affiliations. This is the last opportunity for voters to make these changes before the State Primary Election, according to RSA 654:32. New voters in Sunapee can declare a party affiliation when they first register after June 4th, as per RSA 654:15. This allows new voters to participate in the primary elections. The candidate filing period for the State Primary Election runs from June 5th to June 14th, 2024. Candidates must file their declaration of candidacy during this time. Those filing on the last day must do so in person by 5 PM, according to RSA 655:15, 16. This timeframe is essential for candidates to enter the race officially.'Visit here for more details.
