A local pickleball club moved one step closer to bringing a semi-permanent facility to a vacant big box department store at Carriage Crossing in Collierville. The Collierville Planning Commission on Thursday unanimously recommended approval of a conditional use permit for Pickleball 901 Holdings to allow indoor pickleball courts at Carriage Crossing. Fayette County had a scaly visitor over the weekend in the form of an eight-foot alligator. In what is the latest of several sightings, a seven to eight foot alligator was spotted in northern Fayette County on May 11.
