8-year-old’s identity stolen to open loan: Bay Village Police Blotter
On Sept. 30 a resident reported they were a victim of fraud. The resident said someone tried to open loans using their eight-year-old’s identity. Officers are investigating. On Oct. 3 a resident reported identity theft. She said someone tried to open a credit card using her information. Through an identity monitoring program, the resident was able to gather information of a possible suspect who lives in Cincinnati. Officers are investigating.
