Bastrop County Public Health Department receives $50K of first federal funding

Fossler has received 333 votes or 56.3% of the votes counted as of 7:45 p.m.
Elgin unveils new wastewater plant, which doubles facility's capacity
AUSTIN, Texas — The city of Elgin has unveiled a new wastewater treatment plant that will expand the plant's capacity as the city continues to grow. Leaders formally dedicated the new plant, located at 720 W Cleveland St., at a ceremony Saturday. The dedication was done in the memory Doug Prinz, and Elgin native who worked in the city's water department for 25 years before dying of cancer in 2020.
