Girls Lacrosse: Section 4 titles for Corning, Ithaca, U-E and Windsor
Repeat champions Corning and Ithaca joined Union-Endicott and Windsor in capturing Section 4 titles in girls lacrosse Wednesday night across four venues. Gracee Work and Kyra Gross scored three goals apiece as Corning led 7-1 at halftime in a victory over Elmira in the Class A final at Corning Memorial Stadium to secure a third consecutive sectional title. The game was called with 1:47 remaining because of lightning after starting about 80 minutes late because of storms in the area.
