If you live in or visit Florida, you know that there are plenty of crab shacks and houses where people can enjoy fresh seafood in a festive environment. Examples are Old Dixie Seafood, High Tides and Snack Jack, and Harpoon Harry's Crab House. Unfortunately, the latter, in Tampa, was recently temporarily shut down after a state inspection.

From articles that I write about Florida's retailers, I've come to believe that some Floridians really miss the state's 39 Bed, Bath & Beyond stores. That said, some also lament having empty retail spaces, along with the eye sore of vacant parking lots. That's probably why an article I wrote about a Tampa Barnes and Noble replacing an empty Bed, Bath & Beyond got positive feedback. And now, that empty Barnes and Noble will become a Baycare health facility.
Another Aldi store headed to New Tampa as Winn-Dixie prepares its exit
NEW TAMPA — After decades with at least one Winn-Dixie, New Tampa will soon be without what was once the state’s leading grocery store chain. An Aldi spokesperson confirmed to the Tampa Beacon that the Winn-Dixie grocery store at 6425 County Line Road will be closing in December. The store shares a plaza with LA Fitness and is on the south side of County Line Road across the street from Wesley Chapel’s Super Target.
