Neosho County Voters Select Trump, Biden in Kansas Presidential Primary
Mirroring statewide results, Republican voters selected Donald Trump and Democratic voters picked Joe Biden as nominees for each respective party in the Kansas Presidential Primary in Neosho County. According to unofficial election results from the Neosho County Elections Office, former President Donald Trump received 432 votes. Nikki Haley, former governor of South Carolina and U.N. ambassador, had 72 while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis received 18. Five votes went to Ryan L. Binkley, president and CEO of Generational Group, and 22 were none of the names shown.Visit here for more details.
A Southeast Kansas community passes the throne to flush out funds for their school's after prom party.
Some folks in Parsons, Kansas are waking up with toilets in their yard. It's part of a fundraiser for the Parsons High School after prom event, called Vikings Project Prom. Courtney Stangle, a Project Prom volunteer member, says the *Prom Pooper* idea actually came from a neighboring school.

Governor Kelly Announces Drought Watch for Neosho County: Urges Water Conservation
TOPEKA — Governor Laura Kelly has approved updated drought declarations for Kansas counties with Executive Order #24-01. Specifically, Neosho County is under a Drought Watch, as of Wednesday, March 6. “While drought conditions have improved greatly in recent months, many counties continue to be negatively impacted by the decline in water supply or strains on water resources,” Kelly said. “I strongly encourage all Kansans to continue to conserve water as we head into the summer months.”Visit here for more details.
