The InterMountain Education Service District (IMESD) will hold a Coaching Symposium in August for area coaches of students in sixth through 12th grades. The symposium will take place from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10 at Pendleton High School, 1800 N.W. Carden Ave.) Coaching staffs from all IMESD and OSAA membership school districts are invited to the free symposium.

PENDLETON – The Pendleton School District is seeking help with an unexpected jump in enrollment at McKay Creek Elementary School. “Our projected numbers are very high for first grade at McKay Elementary,” Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Matt Yoshioka said. “It’s high enough that we felt like we needed to find a way to hire a one-year temporary teacher.”
