Seneca Falls looks to begin organic waste program
The Town of Seneca Falls has begun looking toward the future with a program that would eliminate organic waste from the garbage chain. The program involves having specially designated garbage totes placed strategically throughout the town. Totes would be for organic waste only. They would be emptied weekly, with the waste taken away to be used for composting and as an energy source.

Restaurants get ready to welcome 75% capacity after tough COVID year
Pretty soon restaurants will be able to operate at 75% capacity. Last week Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the move upward from 50% capacity at restaurants and bar. Restaurant owners say it’s going to be a welcomed change- but most would also like to see the food-requirement dropped on alcohol purchases. That would particularly help bars that have been struggling since the pandemic began.
