Pontotoc County Man Charged with Possession of Two Controlled Substances
A man was arrested in Pontotoc County and charged with possession of two different controlled substances on October 8, 2024. On Tuesday, October 8th, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Billy Dean Keith was arrested in the north section of the county. Illegal drugs were reportedly found in his vehicle.
Booneville Woman Charged with Meth Possession
On October 3rd, 2024, a Booneville woman was arrested at business off of North Second Street and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Patrol officers responded to the scene at the unnamed business, where a report had been made of shoplifting. Once upon the scene, officers encountered Virgina Rosesue Scroggins, age thirty one, of Booneville.
Officers Respond to Suspicious Activity in Booneville, Two Arrested
Officers with Booneville Police Department responded to a report of suspicious activity at a business. As a result, two were arrested. According to a press release from Booneville Police Department, patrol officers responded to the scene of suspicious activity at a business on South Second Street. Upon arrival, officers encountered a man and a woman who were identified as Mason Stanley Harrell, age thirty, of Guntown and Kristie Samantha McDonald, age forty four, of Booneville.
