SEC Offensive Lineman Transferring to South Alabama
South Alabama continued to add help for the 2024 season through the transfer portal on Sunday when they received a commitment from Mississippi State transfer Jayden Hobson. Hobson (6-5, 295) is a native of Tuscaloosa who spent his first year of college football redshirting for the Bulldogs in 2023, not appearing in any games. A change at head coach from Zach Arnett to Jeff Lebby has led to 25 players from Mississippi State entering the transfer portal, another of whom, safety Trent Singleton, has also committed to the Jaguars.
