⚾ Hays drops a pair of one run games to Clay Center
HAYS - Hays High has lost three games this season. Each of them have been by a single run after falling to undefeated Clay Center 5-4 and 3-2 on Friday. Hays held a 3-0 lead after scoring three runs in the bottom of the third inning. Corbin Werth and Johnny Cano were each hit by a pitch and in between Cooper Sanders drew a walk. Tiger Johnson drove in the game's first run on a sacrifice fly. Lex Lummus bunted home Sanders for a 2-0 advantage. Jack Weimer capped the scoring with a bunt single.
