This production is a collaboration between OCEAN Arts, the Community Library Friends of the Arts, and the William Floyd School District, featuring middle school students. Forget summer travel or lifeguarding. College student Sky Crabtree is ready to sharpen his journalism skills this summer with an internship at NBC 4 New York at 30 Rock. Upcoming Riverhead School Board Meeting and Public Hearing on May 14
The Riverhead Central School District will hold a Board of Education meeting and public hearing on May 14th, 2024. The event is scheduled to start at 5:30 PM at Riverhead High School, located at 700 Harrison Avenue, Riverhead, New York. The meeting will initially be open to the public in Room #123. After opening, the Board will go into an Executive Session, closed to the public, to discuss specific topics allowed under Open Meetings Law §105 (f). The regular meeting will resume at approximately 7:00 PM in the high school auditorium and will be live-streamed. At William Floyd High School, the Business Department recently held its annual Career Café. This event connected nearly 300 students from grades 10 to 12 with professionals from over 80 different fields, including technology, healthcare, law, and engineering. The Career Café allowed students to explore various career options and receive advice from industry experts.
