Local PCC's Student Government Participates in Mock Legislative Session to Encourage Student Involvement
Piedmont Community College's (PCC) Student Government Association (SGA) recently took part in a mock legislative session. This was part of the College Legislative Assembly (CLA), a joint effort with the Youth Legislative Assembly and the NC General Assembly. The goal was to attract more college students. Over 80 students got to debate and vote on real bills recently considered in the Senate and House of Representatives.
