North Country Community College celebrated its 56th Commencement ceremony, graduating 206 students. The event was held at the Sparks Athletic Complex gymnasium on the Saranac Lake campus, attended by a large group of family and friends. College President Joe Keegan spoke to the graduates, expressing pride in their achievements and encouraging them to stay connected with the college.
Local High Schoolers Dive into College Life at NCCC’s Explore Day
On a recent Tuesday, high school students from various districts gathered at North Country Community College’s Saranac Lake campus for Explore NCCC Day. This event, a collaboration between the college and CFES Brilliant Pathways, aimed to introduce students from grades 9 through 12 to college life and the programs available at NCCC.
New Gateway 2 Plattsburgh Program Enhances Local Education Pathways
North Country Community College (NCCC) and SUNY Plattsburgh have started a new dual admissions program called Gateway 2 Plattsburgh. This initiative, launched at a signing ceremony at NCCC's Saranac Lake campus, is designed to help students transition smoothly from an associate degree at NCCC to a bachelor’s degree at SUNY Plattsburgh.
