The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 4:03 a.m. on Thursday valid from Friday 1 a.m. until Saturday 1 a.m. for Marshall County. The weather service says, "Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected. Both sustained wind speeds and gusts will be higher in elevated terrain."
