Lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike southbound in Springfield Township were blocked due to a crash and jack-knifed tractor-trailer.New Jersey State Troopers responded to a crash involving two trucks, including a FedEx truck and another semi hauling construction material, just after 5 a.m. on Thursday.It happened south of milepost 47.3 in Burlington County, New Jersey.Chopper 6 was overhead the crash, where debris from the FedEx truck could be seen scattered on the roadway.Several lanes of the New Jersey Turnpke soutbound, north of Interchange 5, in Springfield Township are blocked due to a crasha nd jack-knifed semi.No injuries were reported, police said.

POINT PLEASANT — Ordinances targeting new stop signs and a new speed limit for Osborn Avenue were unanimously adopted at the Sept. 23 council meeting. Ordinances 2024-16 and 2024-20 set a new speed limit on Osborn Avenue and various stop signs throughout the area respectively. The speed limit on Osborn Avenue will lower from 30 to 25 mph.
