Anne Arundel Community College has received LEED Gold certification for the fourth floor renovation of the Florestano Building, now home to the Learning Innovation Center. Commencement exercises held for QA homeschool students
QUEENSTOWN — Saturday afternoon, May 18, students who have been homeschooled under the umbrella of Shore Christian Fellowship, were awarded diplomas. The ceremony was held inside Shore Christian Fellowship Church in Queenstown. Homeschool commencement programs have been held at the church for more than a decade. STEVENSVILLE — The Kent Island High School (KIHS) Symphonic Band and Chorus traveled to Virginia to explore Colonial Williamsburg and perform at the Music in the Parks festival at Busch Gardens on April 26-27. Both ensembles received Excellent ratings from adjudicators. KIHS also received the Esprit de Corps Award recognizing their exemplary attitude of positive support and outstanding personal behavior throughout the entire festival weekend.
