Wear opens up play at Class A State Championship
Tellico Plains’ Abbi Wear shot a 122 on the first day of the TSSAA Class A State Championship on Oct. 7 at the Highland Course at Sevierville Golf Club. The senior shot par on holes eight and nine — both Par 3s — while shooting one over on three more holes — No. 1, No. 2 and No. 10. The course sees four Par 5s, both longer holes while also adding water hazards hugging around 10 holes. The course totals 5,285 yards.
