Montgomery ISD Welcomes New Trustees and Leadership in May Board Meeting
On May 14, 2024, the Montgomery Independent School District (MISD) conducted its regular May board meeting. At this meeting, Paul E. Cameron IV and Lizzy Ivey were sworn into office as new trustees after being elected on May 4, 2024. They replaced Trey Kirby and Linda Porten. Montgomery County Judge Wayne Mack administered the oath of office. Cameron and Ivey both pledged to serve the district with integrity and dedication.

Drip Lacrosse 2023–2024: a season for the ages
Dripping Springs Lacrosse traveled to Magnolia on Saturday, May 11, to rematch TMI Episcopal in the THSLL Class B State Semi-Finals. Despite a strong start, Drip ultimately fell to TMI, 5-16.
