IAC Board Convenes in Moscow, Idaho for Strategic Planning and Development Session
The IAC Board of Directors met in Moscow, Idaho, for their Spring Board Planning and Development Meeting on April 25, 2024. The meeting, led by IAC’s president, Vic Pearson, began with an agenda overview. Mark Bair, the 2nd vice president, then conducted a roll call to confirm the attendance of all members.
Vandal Health Clinic At UI To Become First Teaching Clinic In North Idaho
MOSCOW - The Vandal Health Clinic at the University of Idaho will become the first teaching clinic in North Idaho this fall. The Idaho WWAMI Medical Education Program and the UI Division of Student Affairs will take over the clinic from Gritman Medical Center in Moscow. The clinic will continue to provide on-campus health care for UI students. Gritman will still partner with Idaho WWAMI by providing opportunities for clinical rotations. Students can help Idaho WWAMI medical students by allowing them to lead an appointment under the supervision of a physician faculty.

Southern Idaho Company Fined For Polluting Paradise Creek In Moscow
A Southern Idaho company has been fined by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality for polluting Paradise Creek in Moscow. The Track Doctor based in Meridian has been fined 7,600 dollars. The company was hired by the Moscow School District last June to resurface the track at the middle school. An employee illegally dumped 55 gallons of Plexitrac Binder Neutral into a storm drain that flows into the creek. That employee has been fired by the company and the Track Doctor has paid the fine.
