The conference aimed to enhance the writing skills of future law clerks and featured judges and attorneys from across the U.S. Among the 36 attendees were Gosch, Drapeaux, and Nieuwendor.

His externship involved assisting with mediations, jury trials, conducting research, reviewing materials, and drafting documents.
Longtime University of South Dakota Director, Darby Ganschow, Retires After 40 Years
Darby Ganschow has confirmed his retirement from the University of South Dakota (USD) after serving for nearly 40 years. He started at USD in 1985 as a fleet dispatcher, then moved to the service center and purchasing department. Since 2008, he has been the director of auxiliary services, managing departments like purchasing, contract administration, risk management, and aviation services.
