Ridgewood to Show its Pride at Pride Day Celebration on June 1
RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The Village of Ridgewood will celebrate a day of inclusion and fun at their Pride Day celebration, on June 1, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Van Neste Square. The event will feature live performers and music as the village kicks off this month of Pride. The event is also looking for local Ridgewood businesses to participate through promotion opportunities, where businesses can have their own food and drink items on the menu as well as sponsor Pride promotions and products. Nutley Remembers Her Fallen with Ceremonies Before the 103rd Memorial Day Parade
NUTLEY, NJ - “Remember and Honor” are printed on Nutley’s Memorial Day 103rd Parade program. The day kicked off Monday morning, May 27 by laying wreaths on the Nutley war memorials. It continued with the Firefighters' Memorial Service at the Public Safety Building led by Fire Chief Paul Cafone and Commissioner Alphone Petracco. Afterward, everyone assembled at the Frank V. Tangorra Field, also known as the Nutley Park Oval, for the parade. Wayne Township Memorial Day Parade Cancelled Due to Weather
WAYNE, NJ - Sadly, due to the persistent rain in the forecast, Wayne Township's Memorial Day Parade is canceled this year, according to the Wayne Parks and Recreation Department.
