Becca Ballard, currently a park ranger at Blendon Woods Metro Park, began her career journey in Gambier, Ohio, a small town known for hosting Kenyon College. She attended local schools and was active in sports, playing soccer and later rugby at Wittenberg University. Initially, Becca aimed to enter the medical field and studied pre-health biology at university, where she also completed several internships. However, her experiences during these internships led her to shift her focus to physical therapy because of its emphasis on improving physical and mental health.
