🌟 Discovering the Tastes Around National Parks! 🌟 Just wrapped up a Thanksgiving week touring UT-AZ National Parks and their stunning landscapes. Here’s a quick bite on local eats in small towns around these parks. 🗺️ 📍 Moab - Spitfire Smokehouse + Taps: Budget-friendly American BBQ that pairs perfectly with local beers to soothe post-hike fatigue. 🍖🍺 - Arches Thai: Super popular Thai spot with an extensive menu. You can't go wrong with their classic Thai dishes! 🍜 - Giliberto's Mexican Taco Shop: Simple, affordable, and tasty Mexican bites. 🌮 - Desert Bistro: A high-end spot requiring reservations. A bit pricey for what it offers. 💸 📍 Page - Bird House: Crispy, juicy fried chicken that's a joy to munch on during travels. 🍗 - Sunset 89: Tasty Asian fusion, though on the pricier side. 🌅🍲 📍 Kanab - Wild Thyme Café: Popular spot for all kinds of burgers - a safe bet! 🍔 - Vermillion 45: Upscale French dining, special menu for Thanksgiving but generally good reviews. 🇫🇷🍴 📍 Bryce Canyon - Bryce Canyon Pines Restaurant: Standard American diner fare, huge portions with decent fruit pies. 🥧 📍 Torrey - The Rock Garden Eatery and Bar: Delicate and tasty dishes served in a hotel setting, great for brunch! 🌼🍳 📍 Hankville - Duke's Slickrock Grill: One of the few eateries in town, standard American flavors. 🇺🇸 Heads up, the overall dining experience around these parts is pretty basic, so manage your expectations! 😊 It's wise to pack some snacks just in case. Bellevue's Hot Foodie Finds – Never Have a Bad Meal Again!
During my summer internship in East Seattle, Bellevue, I practically tried all the hotspots for dining and compiled a restaurant guide just for you. Save this quick, foodie friends! 😊 - Spanish cuisine at Castilla Restaurant and Bar: I've eaten here three times already, and haven't been disappointed yet! The Paella Mixta is a must-order 🥘—it's made fresh so expect a 30-minute wait, but it's totally worth it. The portions are generous; one paella plus 1-2 appetizers are enough for two people. The Octopus Stew is also quite good! - Thai food at Fern Thai on Main: This spot is all about big portions, great flavors, and a nice ambiance. Don’t miss the Duck Curry and Crab Fried Rice 🦀—both are stellar! - Sichuan cuisine at Tianfu Bellevue: I've been here four times this summer! The flavors are authentic and spicy 🌶️, so those who can't handle heat, beware. The Roasted Duck is in high demand; I once arrived late at noon and it was sold out. The Pig's Feet and Spicy Chicken with Bones are also hits. - Japanese dining at Ginza: Make sure to visit in the evening, as the lunch menu is limited. My favorite, the Pumpkin Fried Rice 🎃, is only available during dinner. Be cautious with the Ramen and Fried Pork Cutlet - they can be hit or miss. - For Japanese Katsu, head to Kobuta&Ookami: Strictly speaking, this is in Redmond. They specialize in Fried Pork Cutlet. The KATSU NABE is delicious, combining Sukiyaki-style cooking which makes the cutlet less greasy after soaking in the broth 🍲. - Italian at Carmine’s and Cantinetta Bellevue: These two restaurants are close to each other and have a nice atmosphere, perfect for date nights. Cantinetta offers handmade pasta which is decent, but overall, the taste and price at both places may not exactly match up—try if you're curious! - French cuisine at Bis on Main: The Crab Cake appetizer is fairly standard, but the main courses shine. The Risotto is fragrant, and the Duck Breast might taste a bit odd at first with its harder rice and strong wine-flavored sauce, but it gets more flavorful as you chew, especially when paired with orange 🍊—strangely delightful! Of course.
