17-year-old facing murder charge in Stafford
A 17-year-old is in custody after a fatal shooting on Hulls Chapel Rd., Stafford Sheriff’s Office confirmed. Just after 11 p.m. on Sept. 4, SCSO said the office received numerous calls about a shooting. Callers stated that a man was shot and the suspect was fleeing in a Mustang.

According to Richmond BizSense, Kat McCay and Jessica Pilout have purchased Holy Mackerel Small Batch Beers at 700 Jordan Point Road, Prince George, VA 23860. After hearing Holy Mackerel was exploring a sale, McCay said she checked out the Jordan Point property and jumped on it. McCay and Pilout finalized their purchase of Holy Mackerel’s lease and hardware last month for an undisclosed amount.
West Greene Football Wins Ugly At Chuckey-Doak
AFTON — An ugly game isn’t what most coaches want, but when it’s got a win attached to it, they’ll take it. That includes West Greene coach Evan Monroe. In a game with 25 penalties, Monroe’s team committed 10 of them, accumulating 110 total yards. But even with the sloppy play, they were still able to fend off the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights 27-13 on the Knights’ own turf Friday night.
