YANKTON, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – From Yankton on Monday afternoon, once again the Aberdeen Central golf squad put together a solid day at the links and finished just a few strokes off of first place as a team, and just one stroke off of a medalist position from the individual perspective. As a team, the Golden Eagles finished in second place, four strokes off 1st place Mitchell; Yankton & Brandon Valley rounded out the top four. Individually, the medalist for the afternoon was Allison Meyerink, who carded a [+2, 74]. In second place, Olivia Braun of Central was just one stroke behind Meyerink, carding a [+3, 75] for the day. Braun netted birdies on holes 2, 4, 7 & 12. Braun’s teammate, Kyley Wirebaugh tied for 3rd place with a [+7, 79]. Central also had a pair of other players finish in the top 10; with Emma Dohrer in 6th & Morgan Jones tied for 9th.
