DO YOU KNOW HIM? Police searching for person of interest in Fruitport noxious gas incident, theft
FRUITPORT, Mich. — Police are working to identify a person of interest who may be connected to a noxious gas and shoplifting incident at a Fruitport Meijer. The incident happened Tuesday afternoon at the Meijer on Harvey Street. Police responded to reports of a noxious gas inside the store. Officers noticed a "small gaseous cloud" that reportedly smelled like chlorine in the center of the store when they arrived.
Motorcyclist killed in Northern Michigan, semi-truck failed to stop at intersection
ANTRIM COUNTY, MI -- A 54-year-old Mancelona man was killed Tuesday when crashed into the side of a semi-truck that had failed to stop at a stop sign. According to UpNorthLive, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Alden Highway around 12:29 p.m. when a semi-truck heading southbound on Bailey Road pulled out in front of him.
