    Ingredients

    • 9 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
    • 3 milk chocolate bars (15.5 oz total), coarsely chopped
    • 4 cups (23 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
    • 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow fluff
    • 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
    • 2 ½ cups granulated sugar
    • 2 cups chopped walnuts

    Preparation

    1. Prepare a 9”x13” pan by lining it with foil and greasing the foil with 1 tablespoon of butter. In a large heat-safe bowl, combine the chopped chocolate bars, chocolate chips, marshmallow fluff, and walnuts.
    2. In a saucepan, combine the evaporated milk, sugar, and the remaining butter. Heat over medium-low, stirring frequently, until it reaches a boil. Allow it to boil for about 4 minutes while stirring often.
    3. Carefully pour the hot milk mixture over the chocolate mixture, stirring until everything melds together beautifully. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan, using the back of a spoon to smooth the top. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours, or until it sets firmly.
    4. Once set, lift the fudge from the pan using the foil. Cut into 1-inch squares and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where it will stay fresh for up to 3 weeks.

    Substitutions

    • Nuts: Swap walnuts with pecans or hazelnuts for a different texture and flavor.
    • Chocolate: Use dark chocolate or a mix of milk and dark chocolate chips for a richer taste.
    • Marshmallow fluff: If you can’t find marshmallow fluff, a homemade version or even cream cheese can work as a substitute.
    • Butter: Coconut oil can replace butter for a dairy-free version.

    Storage Directions

To maintain freshness, store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Ensure that each piece is separated by parchment paper to prevent sticking. If stored correctly, this fudge can last for up to 3 weeks, making it an ideal treat for sharing or enjoying at home. For longer storage, consider freezing the fudge; just make sure to wrap it well in plastic wrap and foil to protect against freezer burn.
