    Yields: 16 slices
Prep Time: 2 hours, 55 minutes
    Cook Time: 4 minutes
    Calories: 461 per slice

    Ingredients

    For the crust:

    • 1 (14.3 oz) package of Oreos
    • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) melted butter

    For the filling and topping:

    • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 1/2 cups + 2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter, divided
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup chocolate chips
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream

    Directions

    To make the crust:

    1. Blitz the Oreos in a food processor until they’re fine crumbs. Stir in melted butter until evenly combined. Press the mixture firmly into an 8-inch pie pan. Freeze for 15 minutes to set.

To make the filling and topping:

    1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla together until smooth and creamy. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the chilled crust. Freeze for another 15 minutes.
    2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and the remaining 2 tablespoons of peanut butter in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
    3. Meanwhile, heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to boil. Gradually whisk the warm cream into the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture until silky smooth.
    4. Let the chocolate mixture sit for 5 minutes, then pour it evenly over the top of the peanut butter layer. Freeze the pie for about 1 hour to set.

    Serving and Storage:

Once set, slice and enjoy this rich, decadent treat! If you have leftovers (though it’s hard to believe there will be any!), store them in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

    Substitutions:

    • Crust: You can swap Oreos for graham crackers or any favorite cookie if you prefer.
    • Peanut Butter: For a twist, try almond butter or cashew butter in place of peanut butter.
