Family displaced after house fire on Oleander Drive

Lost history lies in neglected Manteo cemetery
There is nothing to mark what was once the Scarborough family cemetery on Driftwood Street in Manteo. Listed by Dare County GIS as a 1,000-square foot cemetery, the site is on private property and is overgrown with shrubs and small trees. New Amazon facility opens in Fayetteville
The giant new Amazon Fulfillment Center near Fort Liberty is starting to show signs of life.
