Lost history lies in neglected Manteo cemetery
There is nothing to mark what was once the Scarborough family cemetery on Driftwood Street in Manteo. Listed by Dare County GIS as a 1,000-square foot cemetery, the site is on private property and is overgrown with shrubs and small trees. Man dies in workplace accident at Rocky Mount water treatment plant
A man died Sunday afternoon after falling into a pumping station at a water treatment plant in Rocky Mount.
