Deputies began a probable-cause search of the car, and found two plastic-wrapped bundles of powder, which tested positive for cocaine.</p><p>Williams was taken into custody and charged with a first-degree felony for possession of a controlled substance. The combined weight of the packages was 5.2 lbs.</p><h2>The NEXT Day, Deputies Found More Cocaine During Another Traffic Stop.</h2><figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=2RcPmO_0vlQaOvz00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2RcPmO_0vlQaOvz00" width="400" height="600" ><figcaption>Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Off</figcaption></figure><p>On Tuesday, deputies made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of S.W. Stallings Drive for a traffic violation, where they contacted Quinntez Maurice Banks, 33, of Clinton, Michigan, and Sasithorn Boohom, 25, of Brighton, Michigan.</p><p>During a probable-cause search of the vehicle, deputies located two packages of narcotics which tested positive as cocaine, as well as a large amount of U.S. currency. Banks’ bond was set at $50,000 and Boohom’s was set at $40,000. Williams posted bond, which a judge had set at $50,000, and was released Tuesday afternoon.</p><h2>Most Wanted Texas Fugitives (September 2024)</h2><p>All of these criminals are wanted by law enforcement and there are rewards available of $3,000 all the way up to $7,500 to help capture one or more of these fugitives. </p><p><b>Four Tyler Restaurants Had 17 Demerits Each During Latest Health Inspection (09.22.24)</b></p><p><a href="https://www.mynethealth.org/">NET Health</a> inspectors randomly stop by Tyler and Smith County area restaurants for an inspection. Even those restaurants with perfect scores will sometimes have the following issues:</p><p>Cooling - cooled foods being held at the wrong temperature or for longer than recommended</p><p>Cold food - being held above the recommended temperature</p><p>Hot food - being held below the recommended temperature</p><p>Foods being stored in unapproved sources</p><p>Ready-to-eat foods improperly handled</p><p>Cross-contamination of raw and cooked foods</p><p>Improper handwashing procedures</p><p>Water supply not properly equipped for need - handwashing, dishwashing, food prep</p><p>While the above issues were present on all of the following restaurant inspection reports, these restaurants had some other issues to address once the NET Health inspector arrived.</p><h2>The Lost Children of Texas: Unsolved Amber Alerts</h2><p>Amber Alerts are not issued for all missing children. In 2023 for example, Texas issued 49 Amber Alerts. According to NBCDFW, of the 183 total Amber Alerts issued in the United States in 2023, 26% of cases were resolved successfully.
