Some Thoughts On The New Texas Tech Adidas Partnership And Logos
Texas Tech has done a big reveal of their new partnership with Adidas and I found the logos a bit confusing. We are working together, right?. Guess what? I liked that big piece of masking tape with the "handwritten" Adidas on it. I thought it was cool, edgy, and something to hang on to. After all, I work in a music genre that grew up with kids drawing the cooler band logos on their book covers and folders. I mean, wouldn't it be nice if every kid who wanted to support the brand would make tags? The tape though, was a "cover" for the real logo(s) which I found a bit weird.

The Biggest Ranch In Texas Is Absolutely Insane In Size
Let's start with the fact that the ranch you're thinking of, is probably not the biggest. Most people think the 6666 Ranch is the biggest in Texas. That ranch is frequently top of the mind since it was purchased by a group including "Yellowstone" creator Taylor Sheridan. The fact is, at "only" 350,000 acres, it's less than half of the size of the actual biggest ranch in Texas. For the record, the 6666 Ranch wasn't even really in the running, because it's the 9th biggest ranch in Texas.
Parking Curbs On Avenue Q May Have Actually Been Designed In Hell
Okay, I appreciate what you're trying to do, but maybe do it better, okay?. I guess Avenue Q is considered part of "downtown"? We kind of have to establish that in order to talk about the topic of the day. That area between Avenue Q and all the way up to University has been redeveloped with tons of student apartments, hotels, and other stuff. The spirit of redevelopment has spilled over to Avenue Q proper and I'm not so sure it's a good thing.
