Lubbock police are still searching for the mother of a baby reportedly found in an East Lubbock dumpster on July 21. The search began after a man called 911 saying he found a newborn boy in a dumpster early that Sunday morning in the 2700 block of East Third Street, which prompted LPD to search for the mother of the baby.
