PAW Patrol! Meet the cutest security guards

Meet Britain's cutest security guards - a pair of springer spaniels tasked with protecting the Shard.

Scooby, eight, and Jhunu, four, are deployed on regular patrols around the nation's tallest building to help maintain a "secure" and "protective" presence.

The two dogs are trained to be able to sniff out any danger posed to occupiers within the building alongside their handlers Terry and Joe.

This can be anything from explosives and blood to illegal drugs and contraband electronics such as illicit mobile phones.

Recently, people working at the Shard were able to meet Scooby and Jhunu - as well as two puppies currently training to become sniffer dogs.

This resulted in some truly adorable photos - as well as lots of cuddles and praise for the paw-fect security team.

The Shard, in central London, stands at 1,016ft high, making it the tallest building in the UK and the seventh-tallest building in Europe.
