Frank Sinatra’s former home on market for nearly $8 million

Frank Sinatra's former California home is on the market for $7.9 million.

The home - located in Chatsworth, California - has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and three garages on a 13-acre plot.

The world-renowned singer lived in the Palm Springs area for nearly 50 years after arriving from Hoboken, New Jersey, in the 1940s.

The singer hosted other celebrities in his home - including President John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe.

The mid-century modern home was designed by William Pereria and built-in 1951.

The listing reads: "This property has been mis-marketed for years.

"Yes, it is a ground-breaking mid-century modern design by America's iconic architect William Pereira.

"Yes, it was owned by Frank Sinatra and was the playground for Hollywood's elite.

"Yes, the rumors of Marilyn Monroe and JFK being there "together" are true.

"Yes, there is Tentative Tract Map approval for eleven separate parcels and can be developed as a very special guard-gated community."
