Kevin McCarty, a spokesperson for the Kitsap County Sheriff, said the woman alerted authorities reporting that the raccoons had gathered outside her home, “demanding food.”

The woman, who has been feeding raccoons for nearly three decades, told deputies the invasion started six weeks ago, with the animals surrounding her property.

She said the sheer number of raccoons and their increasingly aggressive behavior left her unable to leave her property.

In the footage, a deputy is heard speaking to the unidentified woman who says: "For 35 years I’ve seen raccoons but it exploded six weeks ago."
