The Tallahassee Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host watch parties on both dates.

The Sept. 11 performance in Atlanta will feature the Morehouse and Spelman College glee clubs. The Sept. 11 watch party will be hosted at the Challenger Learning Center at 7 p.m. and broadcast on the center’s IMAX screen as well as the Church’s meetinghouse at 5455 Buck Lake Road. The Sept. 7 performance from Sunrise will be hosted at the Church’s meetinghouse at 312 Stadium Drive. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. prior to the free performances.

The Southeast U.S. performances are part of the choir and orchestra’s worldwide Hope Tour.

“The Choir is beloved worldwide and we are thrilled that they are coming to the Southeast,” said Ben Smith, president of the Tallahassee Stake. “Their music will uplift us all. We invite the Tallahassee area community to come join us,” he added.

Choir president Michael O. Leavitt said: “Our goal is to magnify the Choir’s impact throughout the world by helping people feel God’s love for His children. Our performances will be free and live streamed so regions we visit can invite their friends and communities to participate.”

Under the direction of Choir Music Director, Mack Wilberg, and Assistant Music Director, Ryan Murphy, the musical repertoire will encompass a wide range of musical genres and styles. From classical masterpieces to contemporary music, the performances will resonate with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The diverse selection of music serves as a testament to the Choir’s commitment to inclusivity and the universal language of music.

For those unable to attend the watch party events, live streaming for the concerts is available by visiting Choir World Tour ( thetabernaclechoir.org ) on Saturday, Sept. 7, and Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. Eastern.
