Category 5 Hurricane Milton is a threat to Florida unlike any this storm-tested state has ever faced.

With a little more than a day before landfall, meteorologist Dr. Ryan Truchelut of WeatherTiger broke down Milton's latest track and expected catastrophic impacts to cities throughout Florida in a live video forecast at 9 p.m. Tuesday.

"Milton will combine a generational surge threat to west-central Florida with widespread wind impacts and a long tail of elevated river and flash flood potential," Truchelut wrote in his Tuesday afternoon forecast.

Truchelut went live on webpages and Facebook pages throughout the USA TODAY NETWORK - Florida, including the Tallahassee Democrat , Gainesville Sun , Lakeland Ledger , Ocala StarBanner , Sarasota Herald-Tribune , Florida Today , TCPalm , Fort Myers News-Press , and Naples Daily News .

Truchelut will be back with live updates and alerts Wednesday afternoon and be with readers till the storm's landfall late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

What is that blob in front of Milton? The weather channel hasn’t even acknowledged it.

I have good experience riding most of these type of hurricane. Here is the scoop. If you are in a direct hit path you are definetly better off evacuate and taking the most valuable with you. If you are not convienced of the news and still want to stay be prepared for disaster and be prepared for regret if you survive with suffering.
